Pennington Day Thanks its Galaxy Sponsors
The board of Pennington Day, Inc., took a few minutes the other day to thank its Galaxy sponsors for their contributions to Pennington Day. Galaxy sponsors are those individuals or businesses who give $1,000 or more to Pennington Day. This year's Galaxy level sponsors were the Pennington School ($2,500), Bristol-Myers Squibb ($2,000), and Hudson City Bank, NT Callaway, Capital Health, and Roma Bank - each giving $1,000. The money donated by these and all of Pennington Day's supporters are given back to the community each Fall in the form of grants. For Pennington Day 2010, a total of $14,550 was donated by area businesses and individuals.
Organizations wishing to apply for funding are encouraged to download and complete our grant application and send it in by October 1, 2010. Grants will be awarded sometime in November (2010).
